Chatfield Ice Hockey Guidelines -  Player Commitment and Expectations around In-Season Training

All players (irrespective of outside commitments) are expected to attend all practices and team events. If a player misses a Tuesday or Thursday session (On & Off ice),  or Monday Varsity only specific on ice session, that player’s eligibility for Varsity weekend play is subject to suspension at the discretion of the coaching staff. Tuesday and Thursday sessions are designed to learn and improve team strategies and team cohesiveness that are vital to a successful season.

Student Athlete Grade Commitment - Players are also expected to maintain passing grades in their studies as they are student athletes, where student is first and privilege to participate in school athletics is second. If a player has 1 F or multiple Ds then that player is required to get a note from teachers and make sure to have a plan to bring up grades prior to the weekend games. CHSAA rules are Multiple Fs require discussion with AD to be eligible for 1 week of games when eligibility report is released weekly.
